Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ (/oj̼/ /sɛj̼/ [week] [basic]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ftiyāobāt Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ was founded by Glegfeshe Fluell Wynner Every Edward Gruffudd, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Overview

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ was founded durring the early 10th century, by Glegfeshe Fluell Wynner Every Edward Gruffudd. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ is buildings are arranged arround a single broad cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Right off the bat Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Kèr Oy̼sèj̼'s grid is powered by mana accumulators.

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Cultural Notes

The law within Kèr Oy̼sèj̼ is highly corrupt, or does not apply to certain favored groups or castes. Strangers might be fleeced by local lawmen, evildoers can be absolved by a payment, and powerful gentry do as they please.

Kèr Oy̼sèj̼'s chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
